Christy Gunnet, P.A.-C.
PRACTICE SCOPEChristy is primarily based at the Rex Hospital where she spends most of her time working with Dr. Schneider's patients in office and hospital settings. Spending time in both places allows a continuity of care unique to North Carolina Heart & Vascular (NCHV) patients. She is able to spend time educating patients by explaining their condition and NCHV’s treatment goals as well as answering their questions. Her role is to get to know patients, listen to their problems and make decisions with Dr. Schneider regarding their treatment plan. She is an "extension” of Dr. Schneider – they have worked together since 2003, which makes them an excellent team. Christy truly believes NCHV makes a difference in their patients’ lives, which makes her job extraordinarily rewarding. She is passionate about her job and providing excellent patient care.
BIOChristy and her husband live in Raleigh, along with their boxer Maggie and cat George. She loves music, gardening, swimming and spending time with her family in her free time.
